MILITARY VEHICLE TECHNOLOGY
FOUNDATION TOUR

Saturday June 25th 2011 10:00AM

Many of you missed the Military Vehicle Technology Foundation (MVTF) tour in November 2009 due to our last-minute booking so we've scheduled another tour by popular request. This will be a joint event between Nor Cal SAAC and the Vintage Mustang Owners Association.

The late Jacques Littlefield was an avid collector and restorer of military vehicles and had appeared on the Military Channel show "Tank Overhaul." Prior to his death in January 2009 he established the non-profit MVTF to oversee his collection of nearly 200 vehicles from the United States, Soviet Union, Germany, Great Britain, France and Israel. Tanks dominate the collection but there are also many armored personnel carriers, self-propelled artillery vehicles, trucks, and motorcycles which span from World-War I through every major US conflict up to and including the Gulf War.

The tour is about 3 hours long and the cost is a suggested donation (tax deductable) of $20 for adults and $10 for kids.

Parking space and logistics limit the tour size to approximately 30 people. Don't miss this rare opportunity to see one of the world's largest private military vehicle collections. Location is 495 Old Spanish Trial, Portola Valley. Best to look it up online and print maps, GPS is somewhat unreliable in that area. The property entrance has a security gate with "Pony Tracks" on it (how apropos). Please arrive by 9:45AM. Tour starts promptly at 10:00AM.

Please sign up by submitting the on-line form below or contacting Joe/Trudy Praxel at (510) 659-8361
