It's time for the annual Nor Cal Shelby Club Valentine's Day Party. This year we won't be having a dessert contest.  The party will be held in conjunction with the monthly General Membership meeting at the clubhouse. Please bring your significant other, kids and, if you like, a home made dessert to share. Upon conclusion of the meeting, pizza, desserts and beverages will be provided by the club.  Mark your calendars now for Friday, February 12 th at 8pm.

MILITARY VEHICLE TECHNOLOGY
FOUNDATION TOUR

Many of you missed the Military Vehicle Technology Foundation (MVTF) tour in November 2009 due to our last-minute booking so we've scheduled another tour by popular request. This will be a joint event between Nor Cal SAAC and the Vintage Mustang Owners Association.

The late Jacques Littlefield was an avid collector and restorer of military vehicles and had appeared on the Military Channel show "Tank Overhaul." Prior to his death in January 2009 he established the non-profit MVTF to oversee his collection of nearly 200 vehicles from the United States, Soviet Union, Germany, Great Britain, France and Israel. Tanks dominate the collection but there are also many armored personnel carriers, self-propelled artillery vehicles, trucks, and motorcycles which span from World-War I through every major US conflict up to and including the Gulf War. more ....

The Nor Cal SAAC Spring Sprint 2010 at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, California is a driving event featuring a Driving School, Open Track, and HSR-West Vintage Races. ALL auto makes and models are welcome except open-wheel cars. Nor Cal SAAC membership is not required to participate.
