I've been on a lot of race teams: Aston Martin, Ferrari, GT40, and of course the World Championship Cobra team. The Cobra team won many races because of absolute dedication and a strong will to win. This spirit lives on now as we form a new team, SHELBY COBRA TEAM 2000.
This team, like the team of the early 60's, will be made up of dedicated people with a common goal....to win another race. This team of winners will race to give indigent children in need of heart or kidney transplantation surgery a second chance for a full life, as well as, drive home the message "Don't take your organs to heaven, be a donor!"
SHELBY COBRA TEAM 2000 is by far the most important team I have ever been a member of as its goal is to preserve the lives of children who, through no fault of their own, are in a desperate race of their own to live on and be productive and good citizens.
Looking for a few good folks. Throughout my life I have found that it's not how many you have on your team, but rather the quality of the people that make it up. With this in mind we are building a team of 300 dedicated individuals. To join this winning team, you need to believe in what we are trying to do for the under-privileged children, promote organ donations and contribute financially. The financial commitment is $2,000 to join and a pledge of a minimum contribution of $1,000 annually.
